Talk With Me Early Language Service

Talk With Me provides prevention and intervention services that support language and communication development in children from birth to school entry. They also offer programs that assist families in supporting children’s language development and early literacy skills. Talk With Me serves all of the communities of ASD-S and has offices in Sussex, Saint John, and St. Stephen.

Family and Child Education (FACE)

Family and Child Education (FACE) serves children ages 0-8 in ASD-S, offering early intervention services that support and empower children and their families to reach their potential. Services are available in the many environments where they live, learn and grow. FACE has offices in Sussex, Saint John, Black’s Harbour, and St. Stephen.  

Family Resource Centres 

Family Resource Centres offer a variety of free programs and activities for families and their children from birth to age 6:

• drop-ins
• parent education and support groups
• toy and resource-lending libraries

NB Preschool Autism Program

The New Brunswick Preschool Autism Program provides evidence-based intervention services to children aged 0-5 who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  

VIVA Therapeutic Service’s mandate is to provide autistic preschool-aged children a high quality, evidence-based service aimed at teaching skills and improving day to day life. At VIVA, the programs are based on behavioural and developmental approaches, and are highly individualized to meet the needs of the child and family.

Early Learning and Childcare

Families can register their child for Early Learning and Child Care through Child Care Connects NB, on the Parent Portal. Child Care Connects NB allows you to put your child on the provincial waitlist, even during pregnancy. The Parent Portal also enables families to search for available childcare spaces and to apply for Childcare Financial Assistance.
