Request busing to an additional address

In some circumstances, students may be permitted to travel on a bus that is not their usual bus route. An additional busing address is granted according to an eligibility criteria.

Eligibility

To be eligible for busing to an additional address, all of the following conditions must be true:

• The service requested occurs every day without any variation of days
• The request can be accommodated on an existing route and stop
• The bus can accommodate extra passengers
• The address is located within the school zone the student attends
• The requested stop is eligible for busing

Requests for less than 2 weeks will not be approved.

This service may be withdrawn if conditions such as route or load levels change.

How to make the request

Please submit a request using the “Courtesy/Alternate Address Busing Request” form. This form is available within the BusPlanner Parent Portal under Online Forms and Requests. Decisions may take up to 10 working days. The decision will be communicated by email.
