Applicants who are NOT certified but have a minimum of two years of post-secondary education may apply for the Local Permit Supply Teacher Posting; however, certified teachers are given priority for interviews. Local PermitsIf you are not eligible for a New Brunswick Teaching Certificate, you may still be authorized to substitute teach in New Brunswick public schools with a Local Teaching Permit. Applicants who are NOT certified but have a minimum of two years of post-secondary education may apply for the Local Permit Supply Teacher Postings; however, certified teachers are given priority for interviews.
