BusPlanner

Sign up for BusPlanner, our online system that allows families to view busing information such as bus stop locations, pick up/ drop off times, delays, and cancellations. Subscribe to notifications to have alerts sent directly to you.

Step 1: Create an Account

Go to the Bus Planner Parent Portal site. Click on “Create Account”. Enter your email and choose a password. If you use the same email as your PowerSchool account, BusPlanner will automatically setup alerts for you child’s bus route and school.

Step 2: Confirm your new account and log in

You will receive an automated email that includes a link taking you to a page to confirm your new account. Click on “Log In”.

Once logged in, you will see this screen:

If you had registered with the same email as PowerSchool you will see your students already added. Clicking on “My Students” will display Transportation information, Student information, and a map showing location of bus stops and times. You can click on “My Subscriptions” to see the Alerts subscription.

Proceed to Step 3 to add your child to your account manually.

Step 3: Add subscriptions and alerts

To add a subscription manually, click on the “My Subscriptions” icon. You will arrive at this page.

Transportation Alerts: Click on the “Add a Run” icon, in the drop-down list, under “Find By”, select “Run”, wait a few seconds for the “Run” field below to populate, then select the Run for your Student. If you do not know which run you are on, consult the Transportation Eligibility site. Once you have selected the Run, click on “Find”, add the checkmark, then click on “Subscribe”. If you are done then click on the “X” to close the dialog box.

School Alerts: Click on the “Add a School” icon. In the drop-down list under “Find By” select “School Name”, wait a few seconds for the “Schools” field below to populate, then select the School for your Student. Click on “Find”, put the checkmark in the box and click on “Subscribe”. If you are done then click on the “X” to close the dialog box.

General Notices: Click on the check box if you wish to receive general notices to all subscribers irrelevant of school or bus route.

Click on “Save Changes” when you are done.
