If you are not eligible for a New Brunswick Teaching Certificate, you may still be authorized to substitute teach in New Brunswick public schools with a Local Teaching Permit. Applicants who are NOT certified teachers but have a minimum of two years of post-secondary education may apply for Supply Teacher postings; however, certified teachers are given priority for interviews.
